Since September 2023 all mapping functions have been available through a single application for each Digimap Collection. These were previously known as “Roam” (e.g. Geology Roam) but are now known by their collection names (e.g. Geology Digimap). These applications allow you to view, customise and print our maps. They all work in the same way but some collections offer additional features to let you make the most of their particular maps. The image below shows the Ordnance Survey application, OS Digimap:
Here, we look at the 3 key areas of Digimap and the tools within each area.
The main area of Digimap is the map window, where you zoom in/out, move around the maps and can often change basemap.
